Phoebe Philo. The talented gal who helmed Chloe for a bit. Rumour has it (for me anyway), that because her wish to have the headquarters be in London, A, and B, her collection was not as hit-o commercially as Chloe would've liked, she therefore turned in her resignation.

Now, I present to you Phoebe Philo for Celine.

Gave myself a little chortle because you can't take the Phoebe out of Chloe or Phoebe out of Celine! Miz Philo's stuff is really distinct and I am sure she will come up with her own atelier soon.

These Alexander McQueen bi-colour leather pumps (buy them for me here)

are totally in congruence with the bi-colour Dolce & Gabanna heels I've mentioned. Loving the Jekyll and Hyde, bipolar cheekiness!

Fantastic top (Pavillon) to look at! I can't get myself to buy it, so you do it here.

1) Work-to-dinner-to-drinks attire - throw on a fierce structured jacket for meetings, paired with a high-waisted skirt or safari shorts

2) When-the-top-gets-old attire - skip tucking it in, and pair with oh-so-tight Cheap Monday jeans or casual shorts for when you grab coffee with a pal, or when you surface at a "socially inevitable" area

On a side note, this is what I do with "old" tops. When the top's fabric gets fuzzy, a running tear only noticeable to me, or simply, it's been loved too many times; the top will rotate to the casual wear ranks and get a second chance in life.

D'you know I've been perving for a pair of T-strap heels? I really admire these ones! First saw them here, then here and then HERE! This is severely damaging. I recognise it as one of those love at first sight moments and I will not rest until I find them!

D'you know, first time I saw Ms. Paxton's work was back in Jan '09. Drew Barrymore was featured in people.com under the "You Asked, We Found" section. Actually emailed my roomie from college and discussed the cons-only of the necklace.

CONs :

- may elicit a WTF if you wear it to work even if paired with an all black ensemble because it's quite a statement piece (a pro in itself)

- may incite a WTF if you wear it out and about because it could come across as an arrogant handicraft piece forcefully laying on your neck

Website such as theinsider.com has also featured Drew Barrymore in this get up. I thought that I'd wait a bit before checking-in on Ms. Paxton again. Went to the website http://www.fiona-paxton.com/ and I am so very delighted that there have been some gorgeous pieces!

It's as though Jimmy Choo and Prada decided to birth something, and here they are, tremendous looking, killer cigarette heels and classy bondage wraps, yum. Well impressed, will probably find something similar at Aldo I suppose - bear market woes.
